This coffee is grown on the slopes of Mt Elgon on the eastern border of Uganda neighboring Kenya. Sipi Falls is a series of three waterfalls in this region in the district of Kapchorwa.
The Sipi Falls Coffee Project was initiated by Ugandan Kawacom company in 1999. A modern wet processing station was built here where they use only clear spring water.
Sipi Falls is 100% organic coffee. No chemical fertilizers are used in the production process.
